# Insight for Living vs TurningPoint+

The clearest difference is update cadence: TurningPoint+ at every 8 days against Insight for Living's every 3 months. TurningPoint+ also leads on ratings volume (671 vs 127) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Insight for Living's advantage is review sentiment (78% vs 64%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TurningPoint+ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TurningPoint+ has 671 ratings behind it against 127, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Insight for Living's written reviews are positive against 64% of TurningPoint+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Insight for Living ships an update every 3 months, TurningPoint+ every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
