# Veracross Camera & Files vs SchoolPass

The clearest difference is update cadence: SchoolPass at monthly against Veracross Camera & Files's every 10 months. SchoolPass also leads on ratings volume (5K vs 1) and review sentiment (20% vs 0%). Veracross Camera & Files's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Veracross Camera & Files holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SchoolPass has 5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Veracross Camera & Files's written reviews are positive against 20% of SchoolPass's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Veracross Camera & Files ships an update every 10 months, SchoolPass monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
