# Camera Cube vs MeltCam

The clearest difference is ads: Camera Cube at none against MeltCam's shown. Camera Cube also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). MeltCam's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Camera Cube sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and MeltCam sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Camera Cube ships an update every 5 weeks, MeltCam every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
