# Affirmations Recorder vs Quotes Player

The clearest difference is rating: Quotes Player at 4.6 against Affirmations Recorder's 4.4. Quotes Player also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Affirmations Recorder's advantage is review sentiment (82% vs 69%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Affirmations Recorder sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Quotes Player sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quotes Player holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 195 and 107 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Affirmations Recorder's written reviews are positive against 69% of Quotes Player's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Affirmations Recorder ships an update every 6 weeks, Quotes Player every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
