# Affirmations Recorder vs RepeatVoice

The clearest difference is ads: Affirmations Recorder at none against RepeatVoice's shown. Affirmations Recorder also leads on ratings volume (195 vs 6) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 14.0). RepeatVoice's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Affirmations Recorder sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and RepeatVoice sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Affirmations Recorder against 4.3 for RepeatVoice. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Affirmations Recorder has 195 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Affirmations Recorder's written reviews are positive against 100% of RepeatVoice's.

Affirmations Recorder ships an update every 6 weeks, RepeatVoice fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
