# Microphone vs Feedback Recorder

Microphone and Feedback Recorder both sit at 3.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 56% of Feedback Recorder's written reviews are positive against 32% of Microphone's. Feedback Recorder also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). Microphone's advantage is ratings volume (119 vs 10). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Microphone sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Feedback Recorder sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.6 for Microphone against 3.6 for Feedback Recorder. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microphone has 119 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.
