# Kiko Freitas vs Learn Drums

The clearest difference is rating: Learn Drums at 4.3 against Kiko Freitas's 3.0. Learn Drums also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (122 vs 3). Kiko Freitas's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 55%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kiko Freitas sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Learn Drums sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learn Drums holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn Drums has 122 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Kiko Freitas's written reviews are positive against 55% of Learn Drums's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kiko Freitas ships an update every 8 months, Learn Drums every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
