# Fluxx vs Swatch This

The clearest difference is update cadence: Swatch This at every 2 months against Fluxx's every 6 months. Fluxx's advantage is ratings volume (548 vs 68) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.5). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fluxx sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Swatch This sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Fluxx against 4.1 for Swatch This. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fluxx has 548 ratings behind it against 68, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 57% of Fluxx's written reviews are positive against 54% of Swatch This's.

Fluxx ships an update every 6 months, Swatch This every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
