# Easy Stats for Basketball vs BoxStat

The clearest difference is rating: Easy Stats for Basketball at 4.7 against BoxStat's 4.1. Easy Stats for Basketball also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 10). BoxStat's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easy Stats for Basketball sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per year. BoxStat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Easy Stats for Basketball holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easy Stats for Basketball has 11K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Easy Stats for Basketball's written reviews are positive against 100% of BoxStat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Easy Stats for Basketball ships an update every 3 months, BoxStat every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
