# KDView vs OKview

The clearest difference is rating: OKview at 5.0 against KDView's 1.3. OKview also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). KDView's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OKview holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KDView has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 11% of KDView's written reviews are positive against 16% of OKview's.

KDView ships an update every 2 months, OKview every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
