# Paradigm Shift Magazine vs CrossStitcher

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Paradigm Shift Magazine at 100% against CrossStitcher's 19%. Paradigm Shift Magazine also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). CrossStitcher's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 15 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paradigm Shift Magazine sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per year and CrossStitcher sells 43 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CrossStitcher holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CrossStitcher has 258 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Paradigm Shift Magazine's written reviews are positive against 19% of CrossStitcher's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Paradigm Shift Magazine ships an update every 15 months, CrossStitcher fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
