# Goodbye anger vs I Read

The clearest difference is rating: I Read at 4.6 against Goodbye anger's 4.0. I Read also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 63 months) and ratings volume (123 vs 7). Goodbye anger's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and review sentiment (100% vs 75%). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. I Read sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Goodbye anger asks for nothing beyond the download.

I Read holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: I Read has 123 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Goodbye anger's written reviews are positive against 75% of I Read's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Goodbye anger ships an update every 63 months, I Read every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
