# Yomu EBook Reader vs Bookary

The clearest difference is rating: Yomu EBook Reader at 4.8 against Bookary's 3.0. Yomu EBook Reader also leads on ratings volume (1.6K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). Bookary's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yomu EBook Reader sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Bookary sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Yomu EBook Reader holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yomu EBook Reader has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Yomu EBook Reader's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bookary's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yomu EBook Reader ships an update monthly, Bookary every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
