# Yomu EBook Reader vs Ereader

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Yomu EBook Reader at 1.6K against Ereader's 1. Ereader's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yomu EBook Reader sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Ereader sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ereader holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yomu EBook Reader has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Yomu EBook Reader ships an update monthly, Ereader fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
