# Yomu EBook Reader vs Apricity

The clearest difference is rating: Yomu EBook Reader at 4.8 against Apricity's 4.3. Yomu EBook Reader also leads on ratings volume (1.6K vs 6) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Apricity's advantage is update cadence (daily vs monthly) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yomu EBook Reader sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Apricity sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Yomu EBook Reader holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yomu EBook Reader has 1.6K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Yomu EBook Reader's written reviews are positive against 100% of Apricity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yomu EBook Reader ships an update monthly, Apricity daily. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
