# Candy Bar Maker vs Egg Decoration

The clearest difference is rating: Candy Bar Maker at 4.8 against Egg Decoration's 4.0. Candy Bar Maker also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 4). Egg Decoration's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (100% vs 77%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Candy Bar Maker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Egg Decoration asks for nothing beyond the download.

Candy Bar Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Candy Bar Maker has 1.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Candy Bar Maker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Egg Decoration's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Candy Bar Maker ships an update weekly, Egg Decoration every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
