# Time Calculator vs ECAP

The clearest difference is ads: ECAP at none against Time Calculator's shown. ECAP also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 11 months). Time Calculator's advantage is iOS requirement (13 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Calculator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ECAP sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time Calculator ships an update every 11 months, ECAP every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
