# Orthodontic vs Preteeth AI Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Preteeth AI Pro at 5.0 against Orthodontic's 1.7. Preteeth AI Pro also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 23 months). Orthodontic's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (30 vs 2). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Preteeth AI Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.00 per month. Orthodontic asks for nothing beyond the download.

Preteeth AI Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orthodontic has 30 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Orthodontic's written reviews are positive against 33% of Preteeth AI Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Orthodontic ships an update every 23 months, Preteeth AI Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
