# Recipe vs Trophikos

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Trophikos at 100% against Recipe's 30%. Recipe's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Recipe sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Trophikos sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
