# Language Empires vs SnapType Pro

The clearest difference is price: Language Empires at $24.99 against SnapType Pro's $399.99. Language Empires also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 67%). SnapType Pro's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 8 months). On ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Language Empires costs $24.99 and SnapType Pro $399.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SnapType Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SnapType Pro has 499 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Language Empires's written reviews are positive against 67% of SnapType Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Language Empires ships an update every 8 months, SnapType Pro every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
