# Vector Classic vs Backflipper

The clearest difference is ads: Backflipper at none against Vector Classic's shown. Backflipper also leads on review sentiment (79% vs 55%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). Vector Classic's advantage is chart position (#5 vs unranked). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Vector Classic costs $0.99 and Backflipper $0.99 up front. Vector Classic sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Backflipper sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vector Classic holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3K and 6.7K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Vector Classic's written reviews are positive against 79% of Backflipper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vector Classic ships an update every 4 months, Backflipper monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
