# Hours Keeper vs TimeSheet

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TimeSheet at none against Hours Keeper's 9. TimeSheet also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (75% vs 57%). Hours Keeper's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 7). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hours Keeper sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. TimeSheet asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hours Keeper holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hours Keeper has 1.4K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Hours Keeper's written reviews are positive against 75% of TimeSheet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hours Keeper ships an update monthly, TimeSheet every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
