# Bible vs The Hagios Study

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: The Hagios Study at none against Bible's 15. The Hagios Study also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%). Bible's advantage is ratings volume (6.2K vs 4) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. The Hagios Study asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Bible against 5.0 for The Hagios Study. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible has 6.2K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of Bible's written reviews are positive against 100% of The Hagios Study's.

Bible ships an update monthly, The Hagios Study every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
