# Bible vs DailyLectio.Net

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DailyLectio.Net at none against Bible's 15. Bible's advantage is ratings volume (6.2K vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. DailyLectio.Net asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Bible against 5.0 for DailyLectio.Net. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible has 6.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bible ships an update monthly, DailyLectio.Net every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
