# Meme This! vs LOL Booth

The clearest difference is rating: LOL Booth at 4.3 against Meme This!'s 3.4. LOL Booth also leads on ratings volume (2.7K vs 5) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Meme This!'s advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Meme This! sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and LOL Booth sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LOL Booth holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LOL Booth has 2.7K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Meme This!'s written reviews are positive against 50% of LOL Booth's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Meme This! ships an update every 2 months, LOL Booth fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
