# Flutter vs Dragon Up!

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flutter at 73% against Dragon Up!'s 15%. Flutter also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 12 months). Dragon Up!'s advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flutter sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Dragon Up! sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flutter holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flutter has 4.9K ratings behind it against 855, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of Flutter's written reviews are positive against 15% of Dragon Up!'s.

Flutter ships an update every 8 days, Dragon Up! every 12 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
