# Cambly vs Classpod Learner

The clearest difference is rating: Cambly at 4.5 against Classpod Learner's 3.8. Cambly also leads on ratings volume (9.3K vs 4). Classpod Learner's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cambly holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cambly has 9.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Cambly's written reviews are positive against 100% of Classpod Learner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cambly ships an update every 11 days, Classpod Learner every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
