# ampm vs NuLeaf

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ampm at 68K against NuLeaf's 24. ampm also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and chart position (#192 vs unranked). NuLeaf's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ampm holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ampm has 68K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
