# FactorMan vs MathBook+

The clearest difference is rating: FactorMan at 3.7 against MathBook+'s 1.0. FactorMan also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). MathBook+'s advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FactorMan holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FactorMan has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
