# GoodEar Pro vs JazzEar

The clearest difference is update cadence: JazzEar at every 4 days against GoodEar Pro's every 4 weeks. JazzEar also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). GoodEar Pro's advantage is ratings volume (166 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoodEar Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and JazzEar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

JazzEar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoodEar Pro has 166 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GoodEar Pro ships an update every 4 weeks, JazzEar every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
