# Video + vs Video Manager

The clearest difference is monetization model: Video + at free against Video Manager's free with in-app purchases. Video + also leads on review sentiment (79% vs 57%) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). Video Manager's advantage is iOS requirement (12.2 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video + sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Video Manager sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Video + holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video + has 12K ratings behind it against 903, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of Video +'s written reviews are positive against 57% of Video Manager's.

Video + ships an update fortnightly, Video Manager monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
