# Video + vs My FileManager

The clearest difference is monetization model: Video + at free against My FileManager's paid. Video + also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 61%). My FileManager's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video + sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and My FileManager sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My FileManager holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12K and 17K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Video +'s written reviews are positive against 61% of My FileManager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Video + ships an update every 2 weeks, My FileManager fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
