# EXIST vs Fresh

The clearest difference is rating: Fresh at 5.0 against EXIST's 4.5. Fresh also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). EXIST's advantage is ratings volume (281 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fresh holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EXIST has 281 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 8% of EXIST's written reviews are positive against 13% of Fresh's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
