# 铁路12306 vs 百变相机

The clearest difference is rating: 百变相机 at 4.0 against 铁路12306's 2.1. 铁路12306's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 百变相机 sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. 铁路12306 asks for nothing beyond the download.

百变相机 holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 铁路12306 has 1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of 铁路12306's written reviews are positive against 0% of 百变相机's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
