# Dragon Flight vs Merge Dragons!

The clearest difference is rating: Merge Dragons! at 4.7 against Dragon Flight's 3.6. Merge Dragons! also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (423K vs 84). Dragon Flight's advantage is review sentiment (87% vs 77%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dragon Flight sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Merge Dragons! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Merge Dragons! holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Merge Dragons! has 423K ratings behind it against 84, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Dragon Flight's written reviews are positive against 77% of Merge Dragons!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dragon Flight ships an update every 3 months, Merge Dragons! weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
