# Time Calculator vs Timesheet & Activity Log

The clearest difference is rating: Time Calculator at 4.7 against Timesheet & Activity Log's 4.1. Time Calculator also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). Timesheet & Activity Log's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 79%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Calculator sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Timesheet & Activity Log sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time Calculator holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Time Calculator has 2.9K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Time Calculator's written reviews are positive against 100% of Timesheet & Activity Log's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Time Calculator ships an update every 2 weeks, Timesheet & Activity Log every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
