# Time Calculator vs Hours Calculator

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Time Calculator at 2.9K against Hours Calculator's 37. Time Calculator also leads on device support (4 vs 2). Hours Calculator's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Calculator sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Hours Calculator sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Time Calculator against 4.8 for Hours Calculator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Time Calculator has 2.9K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 79% of Time Calculator's written reviews are positive against 73% of Hours Calculator's.

Time Calculator ships an update every 2 weeks, Hours Calculator every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
