# Time Calculator vs Time

The clearest difference is ads: Time Calculator at none against Time's shown. Time Calculator also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (2.9K vs 362). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Calculator sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Time sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Time Calculator against 4.8 for Time. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Time Calculator has 2.9K ratings behind it against 362, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 79% of Time Calculator's written reviews are positive against 74% of Time's.

Time Calculator ships an update every 2 weeks, Time every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
