# Everbridge vs Reader Perks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Everbridge at every 2 months against Reader Perks's every 29 months. Everbridge also leads on rating (2.0 vs 1.6) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 5). Reader Perks's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 7%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Everbridge holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Everbridge has 1.3K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of Everbridge's written reviews are positive against 33% of Reader Perks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Everbridge ships an update every 2 months, Reader Perks every 29 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
