# Ultimate Rugby vs Leinster

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ultimate Rugby at 44% against Leinster's 0%. Ultimate Rugby also leads on ratings volume (102 vs 6) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Leinster's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 2.9) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ultimate Rugby sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Leinster asks for nothing beyond the download.

Leinster holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ultimate Rugby has 102 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Ultimate Rugby's written reviews are positive against 0% of Leinster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ultimate Rugby ships an update every 3 weeks, Leinster every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
