# Dumb.com vs Loop pad

The clearest difference is rating: Loop pad at 4.6 against Dumb.com's 3.0. Loop pad also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 24 months) and ratings volume (441 vs 2). Dumb.com's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loop pad sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Dumb.com asks for nothing beyond the download.

Loop pad holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loop pad has 441 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Dumb.com's written reviews are positive against 39% of Loop pad's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dumb.com ships an update every 24 months, Loop pad monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
