# MyThai vs Eureka! Restaurants

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MyThai at 100% against Eureka! Restaurants's 71%. MyThai also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). Eureka! Restaurants's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eureka! Restaurants holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eureka! Restaurants has 860 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of MyThai's written reviews are positive against 71% of Eureka! Restaurants's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyThai ships an update every 2 months, Eureka! Restaurants weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
