# Utah's VFX 94.5 vs GetOut

The clearest difference is rating: GetOut at 4.6 against Utah's VFX 94.5's 3.3. GetOut also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1K vs 4). Utah's VFX 94.5's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs paid) and review sentiment (63% vs 44%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GetOut holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GetOut has 1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Utah's VFX 94.5's written reviews are positive against 44% of GetOut's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Utah's VFX 94.5 ships an update every 8 months, GetOut every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
