# AirDisk vs Send Anywhere

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Send Anywhere at 85% against AirDisk's 12%. Send Anywhere also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (55K vs 148). AirDisk's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AirDisk sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Send Anywhere sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Send Anywhere holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Send Anywhere has 55K ratings behind it against 148, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 12% of AirDisk's written reviews are positive against 85% of Send Anywhere's.

AirDisk ships an update every 9 days, Send Anywhere monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
