# X vs RC Helicopter Flight Simulator

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RC Helicopter Flight Simulator at none against X's 10. RC Helicopter Flight Simulator also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). X's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. X sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. RC Helicopter Flight Simulator asks for nothing beyond the download.

RC Helicopter Flight Simulator holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: X has 25K ratings behind it against 3.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of X's written reviews are positive against 53% of RC Helicopter Flight Simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

X ships an update fortnightly, RC Helicopter Flight Simulator every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
