# CampusGroups vs HawkWatch Lehigh

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HawkWatch Lehigh at 67% against CampusGroups's 12%. CampusGroups's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 14 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CampusGroups holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CampusGroups has 5.3K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of CampusGroups's written reviews are positive against 67% of HawkWatch Lehigh's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CampusGroups ships an update every 3 weeks, HawkWatch Lehigh every 14 months. Both last shipped on October 10, 2026.
