# Pi vs Widget

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pi at none against Widget's 1. Pi also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). Widget's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Pi asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Pi against 5.0 for Widget. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 2 respectively.

Pi ships an update every 5 months, Widget every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
