# Nomo vs Day Counter

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Nomo at none against Day Counter's 13. Nomo also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (17K vs 462). Day Counter's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Day Counter sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Nomo asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Nomo against 4.7 for Day Counter. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nomo has 17K ratings behind it against 462, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 91% and 90% positive.

Nomo ships an update every 6 days, Day Counter every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
