# EE vs MyXTATE

The clearest difference is rating: EE at 4.5 against MyXTATE's 3.0. EE also leads on ratings volume (2.1K vs 2). MyXTATE's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 10%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EE holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EE has 2.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of EE's written reviews are positive against 50% of MyXTATE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EE ships an update fortnightly, MyXTATE weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
