# Fatsoma vs OutSavvy

The clearest difference is monetization model: OutSavvy at free against Fatsoma's free with in-app purchases. OutSavvy also leads on review sentiment (65% vs 42%). Fatsoma's advantage is ratings volume (874 vs 26) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fatsoma holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fatsoma has 874 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Fatsoma's written reviews are positive against 65% of OutSavvy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fatsoma ships an update monthly, OutSavvy every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
